Peyton's second lost tooth

So she lost her tooth this morning and immediately put it in her Tooth Fairy pillow. As we were driving down Manchester Road she says "Mommy, I am wishing the Tooth Fairy will leave me a 100 dollar bill. Last time I wished for a $5 bill and I got it so I am sure I will get a $100 bill this time." Then she recited an entire list of items she plans to buy using her Tooth Fairy Treasury. Ugh! I told her she should not expect more than 25 cents or a dollar at most. The "under promise, over produce" theory at its best. . .

Bye Bye Birthmark, Hello Tooth Fairy

After 6 years of analyzing her mole/birthmark, we decided to have it removed. Today was Peyton's big fieldtrip to Mercy Children's Hospital for a quick surgical procedure.

Upon returning to her recovery room, the anesthesiologist informed me that they had to remove her loose tooth prior to sedating her for the surgical procedure. I was THRILLED at this news because now I no longer have to watch her wiggle it all day.

Prior to being wheeled out to the curb, this DIVA had the sweetest nurse roll her up to the 6th & 7th Floor nurseries so she could see the babies through the glass.

Peyton fell fast asleep next to her Tooth Fairy pillow, hoping for a surprise in the morning.
