Gung Gung & Papa gave Peyton a full scholarship to Stages "Musical Kids" camp as part of her 3rd birthday gift. The camp was last week and this week Monday through Friday 1-4p.m. It is amazing how much the 3 to 5 year old students learned and retained through the training received at Stages. And most of all, Peyton thought it was SO much fun, too. Today at 3:30p.m. was the Musical Kids' Showcase performance and it was priceless. As promised, I remembered to bring 2 working digital cameras, so enjoy these pics and clips:
Peyton (see face above) was thrilled to see so many friendly faces in the crowd. She kept smiling and saying people's names as she'd spot them in the audience. Taylor and cousin Colleen viewed the show through a window and Peyton even spotted them!
The 8 classmates acted out a scene from Winnie the Pooh. . .
. . .and then sang the theme song:
A tune from Peter Pan followed:
"Let's Go Fly A Kite" (from Mary Poppins) was next. . .
Followed by "A Whole New World" from Aladdin. . .
The encore number was "I've Got No Strings" from Pinocchio:

Peyton had quite a posse:
Leave it to "Hon" (f.k.a. Hun) to remember to bring the budding star her very own carnation:
Miss Louise was in the house, too. . .
