MOVIE NIGHT

Tonight was "Family Movie Night" at Peyton's school. Toy Story was the movie and PIZZA was the meal. Taylor ate FOUR slices before the night was over!

SNOW DAY!

Peyton's school was closed but her backyard was open and she spent lots of time out there freezing and making snow angels. So far she has been outside 4 times (10-15 minutes each) and upon re-entering her home she has a cozy cup of cocoa (3 oz). Taylor refuses to wear anything on top of her shorts and boots so she has not been outside....but she reaps the benefits while sipping on cocoa aside her big sister.

Tea Room

Gung took the girls to another tea room today and Peyton acted like a seasoned veteran teaching Taylor the ropes . . . as we walked up the pathway to the entrance Taylor kept repeating "Is this a tearoom? Is this the tearoom?" The pink lemonade served in Disney Princess cups were perfect indoctrination for the little ladies. . .

They played DRESS-UP in the attic after lunch:

Oceans of Fun

As Peyton put this lei over her head, she exclaimed "Mommy, just like J.R. will give me!"
She rocked the boat with a couple new buddies. . .

Taylor loved her souvenir visor:

My Beloved Cardinals crowned "NFC Champions"

Miss Moshi hostessed a "pregame party" for Taylor & Peyton . . .Jack could not even reach the basement and the girls bombarded him with toys:
Peyton completed a puzzle thanks to the patience and guidance of Panther. . .
Potsou forgot to wear her Cardinals attire but she at least acted content with their victory. A true "whatever" win!
This is Moshi acting like a "mad scientist" as she assisted Brendan with his "Pixos" creation:
The closest Kia came to being a Big Red fan was putting on his 1999 Kurt Warner jersey. . .
Jack and Brendan played very well together:

CEC

Miss Moshi was our private photographer at Chuck E. Cheese...she captured the essence of Taylor (our ultra assertive little lady). . .not the least bit fearful of Chuck E. Cheese. She pulled him around the restaurant and acted like he was her escort!

Tinker Bell

How 'bout these Tinker Bell beach cover ups? Taylor keeps running around the house saying "I am going to the ocean" because when Gung gave them these I said "you can wear those over your bathing suits when you go to the pool or the ocean."

After their modeling gig, they danced "The Pooh Polka". . .

Disney On Ice (again)

We got hooked up with some last minute tickets to see Disney on Ice again so we loaded up the van and took Great Granny to see the show. . .
Taylor doesn't cry over spilled popcorn, she simply kneels down and continues devouring. . .
Enjoying the show:
Potsou and Miss Holly found time to sit and enjoy portions of the performance:
When not misbehaving, PEW posed with the guys:

The Magic House

We took Daddy to the Magic House today. Although the parking lots were packed, the inside was not too crazy....thanks to the new expansion which basically doubled the capacity of the place.

Disney On Ice

Kia and I took Cinderella and Snow White to see "Disney On Ice skates" (as Peyton refers to it). Here is a "pre-party" pose:

"Miss Panther" and Jack joined us for the show:

Jack shared his blue raspberry Lightning McQueen snow cone with Peyton and here is evidence:

Blue raspberry lips smiling for the camera. . .if only they'd look at the camera!

KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA

Neither of our girls has ever seen the movie Wizard Of Oz despite my multiple attempts to find a DVD locally or through eBay. This afternoon I explained how during Rush, our Kappa chapter performed Kappas In Oz. I asked them if they wanted to see our rendition. All I can say is the VHS tape from our "performance" August 1995 is almost worn out from how many times Peyton has had me replay the skit. Now they have a warped perspective of the storyline...thinking of a "blue and blue brick road" and the "Wise Old Owl" or "Sapphire City" is not exactly the Wizard of Oz but hey- it was extremely entertaining for us!

Here is a glimpse of their "performance" just after dinner....please excuse the messy room and the chocolate dessert covering Taylor. Oh, and yes it is only 28 degrees here but Peyton's newest craze is wearing her Dora sundress for nap time and dinner.

Tonight just before bed, Peyton was still chanting her new Kappa tunes. Taylor echoes Peyton's lead. Looks like they both have a bit of Mommy's energy and enthusiasm!

Chuck E. Cheese

We enjoyed Daddy's final vacation day by taking him to Chuck E. Cheese. . .

Taylor bonded with Barney:

Taylor's legs were too short to climb up the ladder to get to the hanging tunnels so Peyton assisted by lifting Taylor's short leg up each level until they successfully reached the top. Once they "found" the top, Taylor raced all about the tunnels and finally came down the slide. Here they are in a dead-end:

Peyton -DEEP THINKER- takes a ride with the Teletubbies. . .
